The economy is your fault

People have less disposable income these days. We still expect you to beat last year's sales numbers even though the entire company is trending down about 20% in the number of sittings and sales they have.

It's your fault. You must not be telemarketing enough or selling hard enough. Work harder. Your job is in jeopardy.

You better believe your job is in jeopardy! I was terminated in September because my studio was down in sits and sales(for the first time in 15 yrs!) When I tried to communicate with upper management about how the combination of the economy and new competition was affecting me, I was told I was making excuses and had an attitude problem. CPI stock is down to less than $6.00 today... thank god they forced me onto the life raft of this rapidly sinking ship!

To anyone who is reading this who still works for the company--please know that there are other jobs out there that won't make you sick to your stomach all the time. There are bosses and companies that reward you when you succeed. You can have a satisfying job and not be constantly held to unrealistic expectations. You can work your hours and go home on time. You can have days off. I urge you...don't stay another day in CPI hell!
