Just putting this out there

I submit--for your comparison and discussion pleasure--that I was at a McDonalds this weekend that had posted all the wages for their different jobs. Their full time managers bring in $11/hr (no word as to if full time actually gives you 40 rather than 30 hours).

And they probably get to leave when their shift is over, get to take a day off, not have to be on call all the time, and get an actual meal break. Plus, they probably are not expected to "overcome" the coupons and special promotions offered by their company. Jeez, remind me again why anyone stays.

AND.....They are allowed to be sick and not worry about how they are going to be treated when they are DONE being sick. Or..get that phone call from the SM as to WHY you are still sick. Threw up at work last night? OH you better come in on your morning shift..cause YOU are coverage and the flex person won't answer their phone~

the Board has enriched you and Mr. Koeneke with compensation totaling over $2.2 million(2). This compares to the negative 85% stock price performance of CPI over the past two years since May 22, 2009.
So the fat cats make $480 an hour. How can they survive?

Can they take a sick day?

im quitting..no kidding...im spending my days off putting in apps everywhere. including mcdonalds. im sick of it id rather flip burgers. its a shame the company doesnt even care. and we know they read this stuff....and take none to heart to nothing to improve just look to everything they can skim from us. i still say massive strike. weeklong see what they do. fire us all? ok we'll all collect unemployment. maybe its the only way they will listen.

I'm so happy I left. I finally get to work at a decent job and have co-workers and managers that care..and have A DAY OFF! Not to mention starting pay is over 11 bucks and hour.

Mickey D's gives you 40+ hours a week if you want them. Not sure what the policy on OT is though. I went from Sears to McDonalds, and the only thing I missed was my coworkers.

McDonalds might be better after all. At least I don't have to venture outside and drag customers in the door or you lose your job like at PMPS.
